QS Fibre Zero-Span TesterQS Fibre Zero-Span TesterDescription

The QS Fibre Zero-Span Tester offers an automated zero and short span testing capability. Once the sample is loaded onto the feed tray, 24 wet/dry, zero/short span tests are completed during a five-minute test cycle. After the testing sequence, test results are displayed on the operator interface terminal and can automatically update a local  PC-based Excel database.  The QS Fibre Zero-Span Tester is calibrated and communications software is integrated at system installation.

Benefits

The QS Fibre Zero-Span Tester can  effectively define a pulp’s strength. Numbers generated by the Zero-Span Tester will alert mill monitors to creeping process changes before pulp quality trends past control limits. QS Fibre zero-span testing helps keep production running smoothly and mill customers happy. Direct improve-ments to productivity include re-ducing down-graded pulp, penalty payments, and warehousing costs - all the while improving communication links with pulp users. The QS Fibre Zero-Span Tester is an excellent and flexible device to calibrate on-line assessments of pulping and stock prep step processes. Operators can easily maintain an overwatch of thefibreline, stock prep and furnish to quickly detect and troubleshoot upset conditions before severaltonnes of production at the reel are lost to off-target quality and broke.
